Does Having Wheels Affect Weight Capacity?
Adding wheels on your mobility walker will not affect or lose any weight capacity. However it should be noted that it does not increase the weight capacity of a walker either. Some walker wheels are designed to support bariatric weights and are therefore intended for use on bariatric walkers.
Important Note
For the user’s safety, use only those accessories as instructed by a healthcare provider. Prior to changing an accessory on a Guardian walker, read all instructions and cautions. Wheels should face the outside of the Walker. Only use wheels on the front legs. Only wheels that contain a brake can be used on the rear legs.
